About Primal Slab

There's a difference between seeing a dinosaur and holding one.

A replica doesn't do it. A painting doesn't do it. Even the best rendering in a video game doesn't come close. The first time I held a real fossil tooth, something that was actually in the mouth of an apex predator tens of millions of years ago, it hit different. Hard to put into words. That feeling is the entire reason Primal Slab exists.

We're a solo-run operation, just getting started, Primal Slab launched in August 2026 with our first release, Drop 001. We're small on purpose, for now. What we're not small on is intent: we want as many people as possible to hold a real piece of deep time, not just the collectors who can afford five-figure specimens. That's why you'll find pieces under $100 alongside rarer collector-grade teeth, a genuine predator or prehistoric herbivore shouldn't be out of reach.

Every specimen that ships is personally inspected by hand, checked under magnification and UV light before it ever reaches you. To be straightforward: I'm not a paleontologist, and I don't hold formal certifications. What I do have is real hands-on experience and a genuine obsession with getting this right. We currently work with trusted fossil dealers sourcing from formations including Hell Creek in North America and the Kem Kem Beds of Morocco, with direct-sourcing relationships in the works as we grow.
